Hi - I'm Richard Charles, creator of RCRealness. I'm a lifestyle influencer, content creator, entrepreneur, and founder of Nails by RC Realness — but at my core, I'm a storyteller. Whether through fashion, beauty, social media, or one day through film and acting, my mission is to inspire, connect, and move people.
Before building my personal brand, I was already rooted in service and creativity. I helped grow my mom's handmade business, Anika's Essence, and worked for years in my family's home healthcare agency. Those experiences shaped my values: compassion, authenticity, and a love for creating things that uplift others.
When I stepped into the world of social media, it became a powerful space for self-expression - blending style, beauty, travel, and personal storytelling. Now, I'm building a vibrant community that values authenticity, positivity, self-expression, and personal growth — and I'm just getting started.
Why I Do This?
My path hasn't been smooth. Growing up, my family faced housing insecurity, financial struggles, and the impacts of mental health challenges.
But thanks to the love and support of my mom, sisters, uncles, and aunts, I learned resilience, purpose, and heart.
Those life lessons shape everything I do - from helping clients in healthcare to sharing content online to crafting luxury press-on nails. And they fuel my biggest creative goal: to become an actor.
Storytelling changes people. Movies shaped how I see myself and the world
— they've comforted me, challenged me, and inspired me. I want to create that same experience for others. Acting is another way for me to shift perspectives and spark real emotions, just like I aim to do in my current work and creative content.
